John Morgan. M.R.E.
John Morgan was born and raised on a farm in western Washington: and farming will always be a part of who he is. John has a Bachelor's Degree from Southwest Baptist College in Bolivar, MO, with a secondary teaching credential in Social Studies. John was a classroom teacher for four years - three of them in Zambia. John has a Master's Degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Religious Education with emphasis on "Human Growth and Development" and "Educational Administration". John spent 15 years as a home improvement contractor and the last 17 years have been as a facilities engineer in a hospital. In both of these previous en-deavors John has had the privilege and joy of training young men in skill sets related to construction and facilities engineering as well as mentoring numerous young men in the process.
John has been involved with Men of Valor Ministries from its inception and was there when the first cabins were built. John was one of the original members of the advisory board for Men of Valor Ranch. John is definitely a hands on person and enjoys the side by side working relationships and mentoring. He has the poetic ability to use practical life skills and training metaphors in their daily routine. John has a heart for reconciliation and a desire to see damaged relationships restored. He also has a desire to see young men reconciled to their own destiny. We are very proud to have John as a staff member who will be working with the young men on a daily basis.
